Blue Mountain Beach located on 30A is a beautiful, eclectic neighborhood and is the highest elevation along the 30A corridor.  Named by sailors for the blue lupine flowers that grace the dunes, this neighborhood has it all.  From the multiple beach access and breathtaking views to the multiple eateries and shops within walking distance, the area exudes a laid back vibe that is hard to beat.  And don't forget Big Redfish Lake, which is an awesome coastal dune lake bordering the neighborhood to the East.

Being so close to the beach and within such an amazing neighborhood, prices could be on the higher side.  There are some hidden gems however.  Here is one example:

Take some time this weekend to explore the various areas around 30A and make sure you drive through Blue Mountain Beach.
